The firms below are organized by location, not ranked. Confirm that a firm handles your type of matter and can act in the relevant jurisdiction.
Longview appears in the live directory feed, while a current Census estimate is not included in this site’s ranked-place dataset. The useful first question is not simply whether an event was an “accident,” but what setting produced records, witnesses and responsibility questions.
Firm profiles are neutral research starting points, not measures of quality, experience or availability. Confirm current services and matter fit directly.
Write a dated account while details are fresh. Include the exact location, people and organizations involved, medical visits, work restrictions, insurer contacts and the location of photographs or messages. Keep original files rather than relying only on screenshots.
A car, motorcycle, bicycle or pedestrian incident may involve more than the two people at the scene. A clearly hypothetical example is a collision on a busy route serving Longview during a delivery window. Relevant sources could include photographs, witness contact details, a police report, vehicle data, dispatch records, dash-camera footage and nearby security video. The example does not imply that any particular road, driver or company caused an injury.
Our mission is to make public information about personal injury law firms easier to find, understand, and verify. We organize factual directory records, practical legal education, and links to official sources so people can begin their research with greater clarity.
Our philosophy is accuracy before promotion, clarity before complexity, and corrections whenever reliable evidence shows that a listing has changed. Directory inclusion is informational and is never presented as a legal recommendation.
For a truck, rideshare, taxi or delivery vehicle, ask a prospective lawyer what records may exist beyond the ordinary crash report and how quickly the firm would seek to preserve them. Also ask whether the lawyer has handled the particular combination of commercial insurance, employment relationships and multiple potentially responsible parties involved in the incident you describe.
A fall in a supermarket, restaurant, hotel, car park, gym, salon or spa does not by itself establish legal responsibility. The investigation may turn on what condition existed, who controlled the area, how long the condition was present, what warnings were used and whether the injured person had a reasonable opportunity to see it. If safe, photographs showing the wider area as well as the specific condition can provide context that a close-up alone cannot.
Record the exact business name and address, time, employee or manager contacted, report number and witnesses. Ask whether video may exist and how preservation requests are handled. For a salon, spa or gym incident, keep receipts, booking messages, product packaging and after-care instructions when available; do not alter or discard an item that may matter before obtaining advice.
Organized with a stable rotation, never presented as a “best lawyer” list.

Animal cases are fact-sensitive. Note where the contact occurred, who appeared to own or control the animal, whether a leash or enclosure was present, what was said at the scene and who saw the event. Photograph injuries over time and preserve torn clothing. An animal-control or police report may identify information that is difficult to reconstruct later.
Ask a lawyer which Washington statutes, local ordinances and common-law rules could apply, and whether the location—such as a rented home, shared walkway, park or business—raises questions about another person’s control of the property. Do not assume that a prior bite is always required or never relevant; the governing rule and available evidence need to be checked.
Incidents in a park, playground, sidewalk, library, public building or transit facility can involve maintenance records, inspection schedules, work orders, photographs and witness accounts. A hypothetical trip on a damaged public walkway in Longview would require investigation of the precise location and the entity responsible for it; the fact that a place is open to the public does not identify the correct defendant.
For an injury at a public or private school, college, school sport or playground, preserve communications with the school, incident and athletic reports, relevant policies, photographs, medical restrictions and the names of staff or witnesses. Public schools may introduce government notice or immunity questions, while private institutions may present a different legal analysis. Ask counsel immediately which procedures may apply rather than assuming the ordinary process controls.
A workplace injury can involve workers’ compensation as well as a possible claim involving a different company, property owner, contractor, driver or product. Preserve the employer report, names of all companies present, equipment identifiers, training or job instructions available to you and photographs that can be taken safely. Ask a lawyer how the systems interact and whether accepting a payment or signing a form could affect another route.
For a product, keep the item, packaging, model and serial numbers, receipt, instructions and recall communications. Do not repair, test or discard it if doing so could change evidence. Medical-negligence questions require a different record review; ask whether the firm regularly handles that category and what records it needs before evaluating the matter.
A useful consultation should identify the legal theory, the correct defendant and the event that may start a filing period. Personal injury, medical negligence, wrongful death, claims involving minors and claims against a public body can follow different rules. A single internet deadline is not a safe substitute for reading the current Washington code and applying it to the facts.
Fault allocation is another issue to ask about, not guess about. The effect of shared fault depends on current Washington law and the evidence. For an animal injury, counsel may need to examine statutes, local animal-control rules, ownership or control, prior behavior and the injured person’s conduct. When a city, public school, transit operator or other government body may be involved, notice, immunity and administrative procedures can be separate from the ordinary court filing period.
A useful comparison is specific. Ask what experience the lawyer has with the same kind of incident, who would be responsible for the file, what the first investigation steps would be and how evidence is preserved. If a public entity, school, commercial vehicle, workplace or defective product is involved, ask about that feature directly rather than relying on a broad “personal injury” label.
Ask how updates are delivered, how quickly routine questions are answered and whether another lawyer or firm may participate. Review the written agreement for the lawyer fee, case expenses, responsibility if there is no recovery and what happens if representation ends. The directory is unranked and does not verify that a featured firm accepts a particular matter; confirm fit, jurisdiction and availability directly.
Promptly. The claim type, defendant, age of the injured person, discovery rules and possible government involvement can change the analysis. Ask a Washington lawyer to identify the applicable rule; this page cannot calculate it.
Keep scene photographs, witness details, the report number, medical records, insurer messages, repair material and any available dash-camera or rideshare information. Preserve original files and devices when practical.
Do not assume either result. Washington statutes, local ordinances and the circumstances of ownership, control, location and conduct may matter. Record animal-control information and ask counsel which rules apply.
Identifying the responsible entity can be difficult, and government notice or immunity rules may apply. Photograph the exact location and obtain advice before assuming an ordinary filing process or deadline.
Preserve school communications, incident and athletic reports, relevant policies, witness names, photographs and medical restrictions. Ask whether the institution is public or private and what difference that makes.
No. Build a manageable shortlist and ask each firm the same questions about experience, jurisdiction, responsibility for the file, investigation, communication, fees and expenses.
Possibly. Office location alone does not establish or prevent service. Confirm licensing, jurisdiction, willingness to handle the location, travel expectations and how meetings would occur.
No. Representation normally requires the firm to agree, often through a written agreement. Ask directly whether the firm is only reviewing information or has accepted the matter.
This page provides general information and research prompts. It does not provide legal advice, calculate a filing deadline, create an attorney-client relationship or predict an outcome.
Compare a wider area when the local shortlist is limited.
Firm placement is not a ranking, endorsement, or prediction of results. Verify lawyer credentials through the relevant official licensing authority. Population data is from the U.S. Census source identified on the Washington directory page.
